Award winning Journalist Hopewell Chin’ono has asked Citizen for Coalition Change members to support Job Sikhala’s family.
Sikhala who is being charged with inciting unrest after Tuesday’s violent scenes in Nyatsime was reportedly taken to Harare Central police station.
Chin’ono said:
I just want you to reflect on this. Job Sikhala was arrested for leading from the front as we all ask our leaders to do. His car was taken away from his wife today. She had to go home in a bus.
Who is helping her with bills whilst Job is inside?
Who is paying for bus-fares?Whilst @JobSikhala1 is inside, his work has stopped.
Who will pay for daily expenses incurred by his kids going to school?Who will assist his wife financially?
We ask our leaders to step up, do we step up by assisting their families when these leaders are thrown into jail?
We ask our leaders to lead from the friend, we should “RAMBA WAKADZVANYA” encouraging them, what do we give them in return when they need help?
