Zimbabwe Warriors former Vice Captain Ovidy Karuru’s mother Elizabeth Hove succumbed to diabetes at a local hospital in Target Kopje, Masvingo where she was admitted.
Elizabeth died at the age of 54. She has been laid to rest at her rural home in Masvingo.
Hove is survived by her husband, three sons and a daughter as well as four grandchildren.
Soccerstars like Willard Katsande attended the funeral to pay their last respects to Elizabeth and also comfort their fellow brother.
