Bulawayo Police Spokesperson Inspector Abedniccho Ncube has confirmed that eight machete gang members have been arrested in Bulawayo.
The Police Homicide Department said a15 member gang has been terrorising Bulawayo residents and robbing them of their valuables.
Suspects were found in possession of guns, knives and machetes.
Property worth US$0.5 million, including cars, TV sets, Fridges etc have been recovered and now kept at Central Police Station in Bulawayo.
Fifteen cases have been reported in the last two weeks.
