Dr Alex Magaisa’s memorial service will be held on Saturday 11 June at the Univesity of Kend to bid farewell to the people’s hero.
The family of the late academic and public intellectual, Dr Alex announced in a statement yesterday.
The service will also be broadcast online to benefit those far and wide and those not able to attend physically.

The family of the late academic and public intellectual, Dr Alex Tawanda Magaisa, has made arrangements to allow friends, colleagues and well-wishers to express their condolences to Alex’s family at a gathering to be held in his honour at 1200 on Saturday, 11th June at the University of Kent.
The service will also be broadcast online to benefit those far and wide and those not able to attend physically.
