Baba Harare pays tribute to Jah Prayzah

Jiti musician Baba Harare has paid tribute to one of Zimbabwe’s finest singers Mukudzeyi Mukombe popularly known as Jah Prayzah.

Baba Harare took to social media to shower praises to a fellow artist, comparing him to Nigerian musician Davido.

He said: “if JP was in Nigeria where there is a population of 206 million, he would be up there with the Davidos.”

Baba Harare said he was fortunate to cross paths with Jah Prayzah adding that he is a perfectionist and workaholic.

Baba Harare worked with Jah Prayzah as one of his influential guitarist before quitting around 2016.

“Another GOAT. Having worked closely with JP, I know for a fact if he was in Nigeria where there is a population of 206 million, he would be up there with the Davidos. Uyu is a workaholic and a perfectionist. I was very fortunate that our paths crossed. What I learnt I can’t unlearn. #legendsaremadethisway”
