Zambia President Hakainde Hichilema has commissioned the Kenneth Kaunda International Conference Convention wing of the Mulungushi Conference Centre in Lusaka.
Hichilema said this is not only an honour to Founding Father, fallen hero, Kaunda but a symbol of unwavering friendship with the People’s Republic of China.
“Our long established relationship with the People’s Republic of China is credited to the visionary leadership of our Founding Fathers Dr Kaunda and Chairman Mao Zedong, a relationship that has continued to grow from strength to strength by successive governments of our two great nations.”
China built a 2,500-seater facility, that was not only delivered on time, but also fulfilled the right specifications and high standards required of a state-of-the-art landmark.
