Kenya and Zimbabwe have been removed from the qualification process for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations after failing to end suspensions imposed on them by FIFA.
FIFA suspended the football associations of the two nations in February, because of political interference.
CAF had included Kenya and Zimbabwe in the draw for the 2023 AFCON in April, on the provision that they successfully appealed against their FIFA suspension.
H-metro editor Happson Sharuko says the ban is a disappointmet for both the Warriors, fans and authorities.
Sharuko said politicians should stop interfering in sports as it disrupts critical matches for the soccer team.
He added that the football federations in Africa are not the best example of how to run public enterprise.
