The Los Angeles man accused of attacking Dave Chappelle says he was triggered by the comedian’s jokes about the LGBTQ community and homelessness.

In a jailhouse interview, Isaiah Lee said Chappelle should be more sensitive when it comes to the jokes he cracks.

He said he is bisexual and he wanted him to know what he said was triggering hate.

Lee said he expected to have a good time but he grew angry and frustrated as Chappelle joked about his prior controversies with the LGBTQ community, as well as homelessness.

Lee charged at Chappelle on stage, knocking him over and fleeing before security grabbed him.
