South Africa President Cyril Ramaphosa has cancelled the erection of a R22 million Flag at Freedom Park.
SA Minister of Sports, Arts and Culture Nathi Mthethwa has been trending on Twitter after he announced that his ministry was spearheading the erection of a R22 Million .
Following public outcry the Minister contacted Ramaphosa to brief him on the citizens’ grievances in relation with the Flag.
The President revealed during a conference that he told the Minister to cancel the project if people are not happy about it.
South Africans are demanding that the money be used on projects that better the lives of the people.
