Sowetan reported that Limpopo born musician Makhadzi Muimbi was robbed at gun point by two armed robbers.

The Matorokisi hit maker was scheduled to perform at Ga-Rankuwa Shisanyama in Tshwane.

The robbers approached her while she was standing outside her car at the parking lot.

Open Mic Records owner Lionel Jamela told the publication that the robbers pointed a gun at her and took her phone.

When Makhadzi ran towards the venue’s entrance, the men shot towards her and her dancer. Fortunately enough no one was injured.

The thugs had a gun on Makhadzi’s neck and snatched the phone from her hand. The musician and her dancer opened a case at Ga-Rankuwa  police station.
