Government critic and award winning journalist Hopewell Chin’ono slammed Nick Mangwana for celebrating getting a channel on DSTV.
Writing on Twitter, Mangwana said ZTN will be on Channel 294 adding that: “For this one hold your breath. We continue to liberalize the airwaves in the Second Republic.”
Chin’ono said Mangwana should be educated because Zimbabwe can’t use a South African satellite company to free its airwaves
“Somebody educate Nick Mangwana that when we say Zimbabwe only has 1 TV station, we are referring to what is called free to air or terrestrial television.
DStv is a South African company, a grand mother in Dotito has no access to it. This is the problem of appointing incompetent people to do jobs that they know nothing about on the basis of loyalty or nepotism!
Nick is clueless about the job he is supposed to be doing, he doesn’t understand what freeing airwaves means. You can’t use a South African satellite company to free Zimbabwe’s airwaves!😂😂😂
