Zimeye editor Simba Chikanza has backed down on exposing first lady Auxillia Mnangagwa’s video.
Writing on social media , Chikanza said he will subject himself to a public trial with the government before publicising the video.
Chikanza had on Sunday warned Mnangagwa that if she failed to reach out to him to finish the conversation they had, he would reveal their incomplete video call.

“Since I’ve been subjected the whole of Sunday into the night, to tonnes of phonecalls and threats ordering me not to reveal the Auxillia Mnangagwa video, I’ve decided (before taking the huge jump) to subject myself to a PUBLIC TRIAL with the govt ZMC,VMCZ @Potraz_zw all to grill me.
