Madam Boss’s sister Fungai Mtisi says Vice President and health minister Constantino Chiwenga has failed to transform the health sector in Zimbabwe.
Writing on Facebook, Fungai said there are good institutions in Zimbabwe but they are for the elite while the poor die in government run hospitals.
She said: “I can’t wait to see a Minister who will transform the health sector in Zimbabwe. I know good institutions in Zimbabwe but they are for the elite, they are not run by the government. What of the poor????”
The public health care system is on the brink of collapse with shortages of basic drugs and equipment, an overburdened and underpaid staff.
Mtisi bemoaned how the Healthcare in Zimbabwe has historically been poor compared with other countries in the region.
