Award winning journalist Hopewell Chin’ono has congratulated Sitho Mdlalose following his appointment as the new managing director for Vodacom South Africa.
Writing on Facebook, Hopewell said Sitho becomes the second Zimbabwean to head a South African mobile phone company.
Sitho will be the new Managing Director of Vodacom South Africa effective 01 July 2022.
He currently serves as the managing director of Vodacom Tanzania, a position he has held since August 2021.
Meanwhile, MTN South Africa is headed by Zimbabwean businessman Ralph Mupita.
