President Emmerson Mnangagwa commissioned the joint venture investment combining Zimbabwe and Switzerland for production of medical cannabis in Nyabira today.
Mnangagwa toured the cannabis greenhouse and processing plant at Arden Farm, the investment is worth USD22 million.
He said the investment is testimony to the fruits of the engagement and re-engagement policy and the confidence Swiss investors are having on Zimbabwe.
Swiss Bioceutical Plant was granted the planting licence in 2020. The project involves Health, Agriculture, Security Ministries and ZIDA.
