Self exiled professor Jonathan Moyo has slammed South African activist Mmusi Maimane for supporting shutdown Zimbabwe.
This comes after Mmusi called for a shutdown following growing discontent among citizens over the ruling party’s failure to address the worsening economic situation.
Writing on Twitter, Moyo said Mmusi is a South African politician and a puppet for the National Democratic Institute.
Jonathan added that Maimane is not a Zimbabwean, to justify his leading role in a ShutDown Zimbabwe campaign.
ZANU PF has been shaken by calls for a national shutdown hence state security agents have been deployed nationwide to crack down on protesters.
