Zimbabwean musician Ammara Brown has been officially appointed as brand ambassador for Parul University.
Writing on Facebook, Ammara said:
“🔱 Officially a Brand Ambasador Parul University
When I was 17, both my parents encouraged me to study Music at tertiary level. I couldn’t understand them at the time because all I wanted to do was make music and perform it.
Of course, like most teenagers I obliged but I was particularly grateful they supported the pursuit of my strengths. 🤗 I arrived 6 weeks into the term, and after 2 weeks of college, the teachers asked me if I wanted to move to 2nd year, instead. When 2nd term began, I went into beast mode, and loved it! I went on to be an Honor student with Distinctions.
Needless to say my work ethic followed right through to my professional career. With multiple awards, millions of streams, hundreds of thousands of dollars earned, many international tours, and 1 million global fans later, I can say with Godfidence: go study. 📚 I’m so glad I did 😉”
