Roselyn Dunga working as a security screener at the Robert Gabriel Mugabe International Airport allegedly stole a bag containing US$2 million from an Emirates flight departing for Dubai, in the United Arab Emirates.

There were five bags on the checked luggage conveyor belt and she let four of the bags go through.

Dunga (31) of Stoneridge in Waterfalls, took the bag home after her shift and discovered the bag had US$2 million. The incident happened in October 2021.

Below is how she spent the money:
a). She gave her pastor Edmore Chipisa of the Heavenly Fire Ministries tithe worth US$400 000 which he used to purchase a new home on Leegate Crescent in the exclusive suburb of Gunhill.

b). Using her sister, Locadia Chumikosi, Dunga paid US$580 000 for a double-storey house on Giraffe Crescent in Borrowdale West.
c). Through her 17-year-old nephew, she acquired a 19-hectare plot in Selous for US$130 000.
d). Immovable Properties acquired:
>a Mercedes Benz 350 for US$95 000,
>an Iveco truck,
>three DAF XF 105 truck horses,
>three flatbed trailers and
>a 42,000-litre fuel tanker.
Dunga spent US$1.4 million in total.

Dunga’s secret was exposed by her boyfriend who went to the police with what he knew and the Criminal Investigations Department detectives paid her a visit.

This week, prosecutors obtained a High Court injunction stopping Dunga and Chipisa from disposing of the properties until the end of their trial.
