CCC spokesperson Fadzayi Mahere says Newsday journalists Blessed Mhlanga and Chengeto Chidi have been arrested by police while filming the by-election in Chitungwiza.
Mahere said journalism is not a crime thus the press should be free to carry out their duties.

Mhlanga is currently at St Mary’s police station. Police allegedly seized his phone and destroyed it.
