Founder and CEO of Akello Tanya Masiyiwa says the digital learning platform will transform education in Africa.
In a video shared on Twitter, Strive Masiyiwa’s daughter said Akello is aimed at broadening access to learning opportunities for millions across Africa.
In August 2021, Tanya launched Akello, a subsidiary of the Econet Group, with the aim to offer digital products aligned to national curriculums.
Tanya expressed the need to show off Africa’s talent in the education space.
