Tawanda Mhako won the 2022 Zimbabwe Open U16 Chess Development Section yesterday.
Tawanda (16) beat 63 other participants in the competition.
Mhako said it was a difficult game from the beginning but he managed to maintain a perfect score of 6/6.
The event is the biggest national tournament held once every year.
