Johane Marange high priest Noah Taguta has been succeeded by his son Brine Taguta as the new leader of the apostolic sect.
Brine (38) was annointed by the late Noah Taguta before he died.
Momberume (90) was buried at a sacred shrine in Mafararikwa village, Bocha.
Meanwhile, family members are fighting over Mutumwa’s inheritence.
Noah’s nephew Clement Momberume, dragged the family to court arguing that Taguta was not supposed to be buried at the sacred mountain where the church’s founder, Baba Johane Muchabaya Momberume was also buried.
