Popular award winning Zimbabwean journalist, Hopewell Chin’ono, will be returning over 100 goats that he received from ZANU-PF on Sunday.

According to a video circulating online, ZANU-PF youths have said they will allow Chin’ono to remain with the 35 goats that he imported from South Africa.

Chin’ono ‘s goats have been trending after his employees at his Murehwa rural home admitted on ZTV that the journalist was given goats by ZANU-PF officials as part of a community initiative.

Chin’ono also received land and feed from the program and was supposed to pass on the goats to other villagers after his goats had multiplied.

However, according to locals, Chin’ono, after his goats multiplied, then fenced off his homestead and did not pass on the goats to other villagers.
