The Geneva summit has condemned ZANU PF attacks on award winning journalist Hopewell Chin’ono.
Hopewell exposed the deep rooted corruption in Zimbabwe under the government of Emmerson Mnangagwa which has left many key institutions on life support.
Writing on Twitter, the Summit said continued attacks on Chin’ono expose the ZANU PF regime even more.
“Earlier this month investigative journalist @daddyhope came to Geneva and exposed how Zimbabwe’s regime steals the property of innocent Zimbabweans. Now Zimbabwe’s regime is trying to steal his personal property in retaliation—showing just how right he was.”
Zanu pf is now after Hopewell’s goat project which they claim was a government initiative aimed at benefiting the whole community.
Chin’ono has since halted the project after Zanu pf threatened to invade his farm and loot the goats.
