Zimbabwe Electoral Commission (ZEC) chair, Priscilla Chigumba says she has no power to make electoral changes.
ZEC has been dubbed biased and their independence questioned by opposition parties as well as international Independent media.
Chigumba said she will never do what people want because she does not have the power.
She said the parliament should give her powers to make independent rules and regulations to govern ZEC.
The United States Embassy urged ZEC to implement electoral reforms recommended in the Zimbabwe Democracy and Economic Recovery Act (Zidera) ahead of the 2023 elections.
