Six people have died while 11 others were injured in a horrific accident involving a truck and a minibus carrying passengers at the Nkulumane Shopping Complex intersection this morning.
In a statement, ZRP said a Kombi with 17 occupants went through a red robot and rammed into a moving truck before it was trapped between the horse and trailer and dragged for about 30 metres.
The ZRP confirms a fatal RTA which occurred at the intersection of Masiyephambili and Khami Rd today at 0500 hours where six people died while 11 others were injured.
A non-Zupco Toyota Hiace Kombi with 17 occupants went through a red robot and rammed into a moving truck before it was trapped between the horse and trailer and dragged for about 30 metres.
The truck was travelling from Nkulumane while the mini bus was travelling from Pumula South heading to town.
Witnesses report that the kombi was speeding and smashed onto the truck.
