US President Joe Biden has announced a new package of $800 million to aid Ukraine’s forces address the growing Russian offensive in the east.
Addressing the media yesterday, Biden said Russian President Vladimir Putin will never succeed in dominating and occupying all of Ukraine.
The package includes heavy artillery weapons, dozens of howitzers, and 144,000 rounds of ammunition to go with those howitzers and more tactical drones.
Biden also banned Russia affiliated ships from American ports.
In addition to the security aid, the U.S. will also provide $500 million in budgetary assistance to help Ukraine cover government expenses such as salaries, pensions and other programs.
