Netflix announced that it has lost 200, 000 subscribers for the first time in more than a decade.

This comes after its decision early March to suspend service in Russia following its invasion of Ukraine resulting in the loss of 700,000 members.

Netflix, which currently has 221.6 million subscribers, last reported a loss in customers in October 2011.

The company also warned that it could lose 2.5 million this spring as shares fall by 23%.
