Vice President Constantino Chiwenga has arrived with his family for the 42nd Independence celebrations at Barbourfields in Bulawayo.
Chiwenga was accompained by his three children Tendai, Christian and Michael together with other dignitaries.
For the first time in the history of Zimbabwe, the 42nd independence anniversary is being held held in Bulawayo.
