Musician Desmond Chideme (41), popularly known as Stunner, has appeared in court on charges of physical abuse after he allegedly assaulted his wife, Dione Tafirenyika, 23.

Stunner, who was represented by lawyer Dumisani Mthombeni, pleaded not guilty to the charge and is expected back in court on the 11th of May for trial.

According to court papers on Saturday April 10 in the wee hours at Rainbow Towers hotel, Stunner followed Dyonne into the ladies restrooms and demanded that she hand over her mobile phone before dragging her to the premises car park.

It is alleged that he went on to slap her before forcibly removing her artificial nails.

His Facebook status now says he is a single guy.
