Nigerian pastor Clement Ibe allegedly swindled R90 million from his Church in Pretoria before fleeing to the United States.
Bethesda Christian Centre (BCC) members have organised a Concerned Group Task Team to bring Ibe to justice.
In December the task force wrote to the department of Social Development raising concerns about the conduct of Ibe.
The group alleges that Ibe and his board failed to account for the church’s millions for over 20 years.
The church believes the money was laundered to fund his businesses outside SA.
Meanwhile the church has approached Hawks for assistance and investigations are underway.
