President Emmerson Mnangagwa is back from Zambia where he was attending the funeral of that country’s 4th President, the late Rupiah Bwezani Banda.
Mnangagwa was received at Robert Gabriel Mugabe International Airport by VP Chiwenga, defence minister Oppah Muchinguri Kashiri and Olivia Chidau.
Mnangagwa described Banda as a Pan Africanist and a regional icon.
Zambia’s former president died Friday aged 85 after battling with colon cancer since 2020.
