Gambakwe Media sources have exclusively revealed that Prophet Walter Magaya of PHD Ministries is not being suspected of plotting the removal of President Emmerson Mnangagwa’s government with Professor Jonathan Moyo.
These revelations follow a story by Newshawks that alleged that the authorities suspected Magaya of plotting with Chamisa and Moyo to bring down President Mnangagwa.
Police and other security agents last week raided three houses in Harare, including one owned by Prophet Magaya, who had recently visited Kenya.
The sources said the raid on Magaya’s home was not political and the authorities were not looking for evidence that the charismatic man of the cloth is colluding with Moyo.
The publication managed to reach Professor Jonathan Moyo, who denied having any contact with Magaya.
Moyo said: “I have heard there is an inter-security taskforce which is monitoring me, but I didn’t know Magaya was in Kenya; just read it in the media. The truth is that the last time I saw and spoke to Magaya was in 2015 at my daughter’s funeral service”.
