The name of LEAD President, Linda Masarira, is missing on the voters roll.

Masarira took to social media to criticise the Zimbabwe Electoral Commission for excluding her name ahead of the much anticipated by-elections set for 26th March 2022.

“In 2018 I raised a query after I realized that my name was not there in the voters roll that was supplied to me by @ZECzim This evening I have been going through the voters I was given after nomination court dated as of 8 January 2022 & my name is still not there,” she posted.

“I demand answers on why @ZECzim still provides a different voters roll to candidates from the one that they use because if I check on the online BVR inspection I am appearing on the voters roll. I also checked some other people on the roll & they are not appearing on the roll,” she added.

“We are sick & tired of raising the same issues every election year. It is evident and clear that @ZECzim is failing to excite it’s mandate to run credible elections in this country. If I am not supplied with the actual voters roll that ZEC is using I am taking legal action,”
