Six men arrested in connection with the Southern African Development Community (SADC) headquarters robbery case appeared before the Botswana Village Magistrates Court today.

Two out of the accused are Zimbabwean citizens while four are from Botswana.

The accused persons Maitapiso Thuso Kgakgamatso (37), Lesego Masilo (33), Mpho Rasetena (28), Otsile Semadi (40), Tongai Tsikirayi and Innocent Bushiri Shaggy (31), allegedly robbed the SADC secretariat on the 29th of January.

An investigating officer requested that the suspects be remanded in custody pending further investigations.
