The rally, which is being held at White City stadium, was attended by less than 1000 people, mostly bussed from Harare.
Bulawayo residents were angered after CCC spokeswoman, Fadzayi Mahere said former MDC-T Vice President, Thokozani Khupe, is not welcome in the CCC leadership.
