CCC Vice President Welshman Ncube says ZANU PF has deployed state agents to tarnish his relation with Nelson Chamisa.
This comes after multiple newspapers published articles claiming that Ncube snubbed Chamisa’s rallies because he is not happy with the manner Chamisa is running CCC and is contemplating abandoning the newly formed party.
According to the Harare post, Ncube’s disgruntlement emanates from Chamisa’s recent declaration that CCC was a new political outfit without structures or leaders except himself.
Welshman said: “The state agents deployed among us are on the roll with endless FAKE and ludicrous articles quoting me supposedly saying very foolish things. I am not foolish. Never will be. My opposition to ZANUPF is on fundamental principle. Our unity in the opposition is 4 me not negotiable”
Ncube said fake stories being publicised will never break his spirit and commitment to the struggle for a free Zimbabwe.
“They can write a million FAKE stories for all I care, they will NEVER break my spirit and commitment to the struggle for a free and prosperous Zimbabwe where ALL citizens are equal in law and in practice.”
