ZANU PF spokesperson in South Africa Kennedy Mandaza says ZANU PF is not responsible for political violence which took place in Kwekwe during Nelson Chamisa star rally.

This comes as another Citizen Coalition for Change (CCC) supporter died yesterday bringing the total number of causalities from the Kwekwe violence to two.

In an interview on SABC, Mandaza said ZANU PF does not benefit anything from the skirmishes happenning in the country.

He added that if there are individuals causing havoc, they are not being sent by ZANU PF as the party has no business in violence.

The suspected Zanu PF thugs used machetes, iron bars and spears to attack CCC supporters.

Meanwhile, police have announced that they have arrested 16 people in connection with the Kwekwe violence.
