Multiple award winning Zimbabwean musician, Thomas Mapfumo has finally sent his condolences following the passing of legendary musician, Zex Manatsa.
In a video circulating widely on social media, Mapfumo said he is saddened by the untimely passing of the Manatsa.
He further went on to urge upcoming musicians to follow the footsteps of Manatsa.
Manatsa died in Harare Thursday aged 78.

In August 2021, the musician announced he had been diagnosed with cancer known as Multiple Myeloma, and was receiving cancer.
Manatsa’s musical journey started in the 1960s singing in farms of Mhangura, at tea parties and beerhalls.
