ZESA executive board chairman, Sydney Gata, has filed for divorce and issued summons against his estranged wife, Ntombana Gata, nee Mugabe.
The two have been living separately for some time now, with Gata having already found another partner.
Gata’s divorce is among 45 new cases which have already found their way into the High Court since the beginning of the year.
The matter has been filed under HC 74/22 and awaits a full hearing at the High Court.
Details regarding the couple’s breakup are not yet known.
