Rwanda and Zimbabwe Memorandium of Understanding Agreement that paves way for Kigali to recruit teachers from the southern African country is still under review.

Writing on Twitter, permant secretary for information Nick Mangwana said a Technical Committee is working on the conditions of service and other details before announcing the processes.

The Govts of Zimbabwe and Rwanda signed a Skills Exchange MOU in Decber which will see Zimbabwean teachers and other professionals working as expatriates in Rwanda.

The agreement is expected to protect decent work principles across the whole process of exchange of personnel and expertise, including critical issues in labour migration such as non-discrimination and portability of social security benefits.”
