Controversial philosopher Joshua Maponga has urged Africans to upgrade their skills so as to be recognised internationally.

Maponga said Africa is backward thus people should assist each other in building the continent to be one of the greatest.

He added that there should be the introduction of a deliberate procurement policy as Africans to help grow each other’s business.

Maponga said Africans should try and live within their means so as to avoid living in debt all the time

“Invest in solid assets, stop buying expensive alcohol, cigarettes. It’s only the poor Africans who spend on expensive dresses “.

He said Africans buy sophisticated brands so as to feel up their emptiness left by well developed countries.
