Sello Lehari, the MEC for North West Province, has praised police after they arrested 21 Zimbabweans who entered South Africa from Botswana.

The 20 men and one woman used the Skpadshek border near Zeerust to enter South Africa.

The group was arrested during an operation along the N4 in Swartruggens on Wednesday, 5 January.

Lehari said:

“We know these are our brothers and sisters, but the law must take its course.”

Lehari said anyone found on the wrong side of the law must be brought to book.
