Hundreds of Zimbabweans have been left stranded at the Beitbridge border post after the Immigration officials tightened rules for passing through to South Africa.
A video is widely circulating on social media in which hundreds of Zimbabweans are seen stranded in Beitbridge border post.
The South African government tightened its security so as to makesure that undocumented Zimbabweans don’t pass through.
The chaos in the border has been worsened by South Africa’s decision to not renew ZEP permits for Zimbabweans.
Meanwhile, permit holders are reportedly to be allowed to pass through to South Africa, however, the Immigration offices are giving 30 days for individuals without visa’s and 90 days for visa holders.
