DeVon Franklin has officially filed for a divorce from his wife, Meagan Good.

 

According to legal documents circulating on social media, the case was opened on Monday, December 20, at the Stanley Mosk Courthouse in Los Angeles, California.

“After much prayer and consideration, we have decided to go into our futures separately but forever connected,” the stars said in a joint statement.

“We celebrate almost a decade of marriage together and a love that is eternal. There’s no one at fault, we believe this is the next best chapter in the evolution of our love.”

 

“We are incredibly grateful for the life-changing years we’ve spent together as husband and wife,” added the couple.

 

The pair got together while collaborating on the 2011 romantic comedy Jumping the Broom.

 

However, despite 9 years of marriage the couple do not have any children together.

 

 

Meagan Good, 40, is an LA-born actress and model who became a hit with audiences in the 2011 film “Think Like A Man.”

 

She also starred in the NBC drama series “Deception” as Joanna Locasto.

 

Meanwhile, DeVon Franklin, 43, is a Hollywood producer, best-selling author, and motivational speaker originally from San Francisco, California.

 

He co-wrote the New York Times best-seller “The Wait” with Meagan Good, and also produced the popular films “Miracles from Heaven” and “Heaven Is For Real.”
