Dr Thokozani Khuphe, the MDC Alliance Vice President, has gone to court to stop MDC-T President, Douglas Mwonzora from recalling her.
In her urgent court application , Khuphe revealed that she earlier filed another court application to force MDC-T Chairperson Paurina Mpariwa to show her the resolutions of the National Council meeting of 26 November 2021.
Khuphe’s application is supported by her affidavit and that of recalled Gweru Mayor, Josiah Makombe and Chitungwiza Mayor, Lovemore Maiko, who is also due to be recalled.
Khuphe wants the court to interdict Mwonzora from recalling her and her supporters who are accused of secretly meeting with MDC Alliance leader, Nelson Chamisa.
