South Africa based Zimbabwean Prophet, Jay Israel ( Jacob Dube), has revealed that he will not allow his new wife, Masabata, to use the title ‘Prophetess’.
Writing on Facebook, Dube said:
All I want is a wife at home not a preacher , someone who looks like a pastor’s wife , a prophetess or someone to be a church mother . The fact that I’m called to be a prophet does not mean I must now marry a prophetess . The problem started when your papa called his wife prophetess and now you think that title is sexually transmitted .
What I mean is I just want someone who laughs at my silly jokes the way she does not a woman of God who will carry Bible to the bedroom after a powerful service at church 😅 .

Jay Israel has moved on with Lesotho born Masabata after he broke up with his Zimbabwean girlfriend, Blessing Mashangwa.
Jay Israel was dating Blessing Mashagwa. They two broke up after Blessing acussed Jay Israel of fleecing her of over R500 000
Last week, Jay Israel introduced Masabata to his mother and shared the visit on social media.
Jay Israel has announced that he plans to settle down with Masabata. He started dating her in early 2021.
