Mary Mubaiwa the ex-wife of Vice President Constantino Chiwenga has been declared fit to stand trial.
The doctors who were responsible for examining Mubaiwa revealed that she is now fit to stand trial which is set to kick off on the 6th of December 2021.
Mubaiwa who is facing several charges including the attempted murder of Vice President Constantino Chiwenga missed several court cases because of her condition.
Last week Magistrate Lazini Ncube sentenced Mary Chiwenga 10 days in Chikurubi Prison.
He ruled that Mary must be examined while in prison. The High Court however reversed Lazini Ncube’s decision to detain Mary Mubaiwa.
