Harare residents slam council for poor vision to revamp the city

Harare residents on Sunday slammed the City of Harare over their vision to change the capital by 2025.

This comes after City of Harare shared a picture of the plan of how bus ranks and market stalls around the city would look like after the revamp.

One Vengai Mukwati said, “When all you have is vision to create renders and not implement a single project”.

The Market Square, Charge Office and Copacabana bus termini are facing a major facelift in the next few years, Council assured.

The residents were unimpressed by both the quality of the graphic illustrations as well as the capacity of council to revamp the city to the level it promises.

“You cant even hire a real town planner to draw legitimate drawings for you or even a graphic designer to do proper illustrations mukuisa zvigamba mu Harare gardens. mdc councils are useless”
