Two children from Javas Pre-school in Chiredzi town allegedly suffocated to death.
The two girls suffocated after the owner of the Pre-school, Mrs Zhuwakina Javangwe allegedly forgot them in a Honda Fit trunk where she had told them to sit this Tuesday morning.
The girls have been identified as Lynet Musungatu aged 4 and Celine Shiri (3).
It is alleged that Mrs Zhuwakina had four minor in her car, then she removed the four minors, two boys and two girls, from the trunk and the boys were resuscitated and regained consciousnes, unfortunately the two girls didn’t make it.
Meanwhile, Masvingo Provincial Police Spokesperson, Inspector Kudakwashe Dhewa confirmed the incident, saying Mrs Zhuwakina discovered later that she had forgotten four children she had put in the car trunk around 10am when she was about to clean the car.
